Special post-film discussion of Denial

At the heart of Mick Jackson's  Denial is a riveting trial in which historian Deborah E. Lipstadt (Rachel Weisz) must defend herself against a libel suit brought by Holocaust denier David Irving (Timothy Spall) in 1996. Represented by an extraordinary legal team, headed up by solicitor Anthony Julius (Andrew Scott) and barrister Richard Rampton (Tom Wilkinson), Lipstadt refuses to back down in a case whose stakes are nothing less than the integrity of historical truth. Based on a true story.

 

Following the 1 p.m. screening at FOX EAST, Jewish Federation of Reading will host a special post-film discussion with a member of the Berks County Bar Association.
